Merino sheeps
The great oart of sheeps bred in our area is the so called Bergamasca, but we , fans of the out of the ordinary things, decided to focus our herd of sheep on the race Merino. This breed is particularly known for the excellent properties of its wool. Obviously it is not comparable to alpaca fiber, but in the world of sheep wool it is very popular due to its thermoregulatory function and insulation properties.
We have recently introduced a couple of Suffolk , itl hallmarks are the brown color of the head and legs.
